Thank you yet again, my flower people🌻

I would love to say thank you to ‘Wedding Wire’, but most of all, each and every beautiful bride and groom that chose ‘Stephanie’s Secret Garden’ for their wedding flowers. It warms my heart knowing that my love for flowers contributes so much to each newlyweds’s special and unique day.

“He who marvels at the beauty of the world in summer will find equal cause for wonder and admiration in winter.” ~John Burroughs

Summer has dissipated and took along its orchestra of cicadas and eternally bare feet and left us with the arresting earth tones of oranges, browns, and yellows splashed intermittently in our backyards. Winter solstice has come and gone and now those colors have been blanketed in a thin sheet of white powder. These cold days may seep into your bones and burn your lungs wanting you to hibernate for the season, but they also have a unique lure about them. You cannot help but to try to inhale the entire world in one deep breath the moment you walk outside. That piercing crisp air, sings a bittersweet melody as it hits your face, up your nostrils, and travels through your body – “today is a new day” 🌬️

Stay up to date with everything Stephanie has to offer, from her workshops to the latest delivery of stunning flowers to her shop via Facebook – & of course give us a ring; we at Stephanie’s Secret Garden love making someone’s day that much more special with a bouquet or arrangement of fresh flowers ❀ Happy Winter to all my fellow flower children!

Thank you, Washingtonian Magazine and yet again Wedding Wire… Stephanie’s Secret Garden Flower Shop started on a dream in a wee shop hidden within a plaza in the rural town of Poolesville; because of all her amazing & loyal flower people, Wedding Wire awarded Stephanie (yet again!) the ‘WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award of 2017′ – and if that was not enough Stephanie was featured in the Washingtonian for ‘The 16 Coolest Washington Weddings of 2016′ and her flowers were also featured in an article on the beautiful wedding of Nancy Bell & Jesse Vasquez!
