I’m starting to think Spring!! My peonies, irises and bulbs are starting to peek out from under their layer of winter leaves and mulch….and I’m beginning to plan for spring and summer weddings, prom and graduations.
Jump start your own springy mood and fill large heavy vases and jars with cherry tree branches, quince, forsythia, or the branches of any flowering fruit trees. If they are left in a sunny place in your home they will be ‘forced” to bloom….and you will enjoy their beauty and fragrance weeks before they open up naturally outside. Even before the buds burst open, the branches stark shapes are lovely to look at.
